Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon your arrival in Casablanca, we’ll pick you up from the airport, port, or your accommodation. We’ll begin with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, situated on the west coast overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You’ll have free time for lunch and then explore the city, including a visit to the Corniche of Casablanca. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, we depart from Casablanca to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then proceed to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, to explore attractions such as Bab Al-Mansour and the Royal Stables. Finally, we head to Fes for an overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fes

Today, we dedicate the day to exploring the highlights of Fes with a local guide. We’ll visit the Royal Palace gate, the medieval Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, among other sites. Afterward, we’ll visit the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and enjoy a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes from an ancient fortress. Return to your Riad for the night.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We’ll then continue to the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques, before heading to Midelt for lunch. Our journey takes us through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel ride into the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a magical sunset and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the desert before returning to Merzouga on camelback. We’ll then visit Rissani, known for its lively souk, and Erfoud, where we’ll explore a fossilized marble workshop. Our journey continues to the Todra Gorges, ideal for rock climbers, before arriving at the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Skoura Palm Groves – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Our final day takes us through the Rose Valley, known for its annual Rose Festival, and the palm groves of Skoura. We’ll visit the studios in Ouarzazate, where famous movies were filmed, before exploring the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in numerous films and TV series. Our journey concludes with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch and scenic photo opportunities, before reaching Marrakech. Drop-off at the airport or your accommodation marks the end of the 6-day tour in Morocco.
