Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca, Morocco

Your 15 days tour from Casablanca begins as you land at Mohammed V International Airport, where your private driver will be waiting to greet you. After check-in at your hotel, you’ll have time to rest or start exploring Casablanca, Morocco largest city and economic hub.

If your schedule allows, a visit to the Hassan II Mosque is highly recommended. Built on a rocky headland above the Atlantic Ocean, it’s one of the largest mosques in the world and a striking example of Moroccan craftsmanship. Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen [345 km]

After breakfast, you’ll head to Rabat, Morocco capital and one of its four imperial cities. Stops include the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its blue-and-white streets and Andalusian gardens overlooking the Bou Regreg River, followed by the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.

In the afternoon, you’ll continue north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, known as Morocco Blue Pearl. Spend the rest of the day wandering the medina, browsing artisan shops, or heading up to the Spanish Mosque for sunset views over the blue-washed town. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Free Day in Chefchaouen

Today is left open so you can explore the Blue City at your own pace. Wander the quiet alleys lined with blue walls and flowerpots, visit the Kasbah Museum, browse for handmade textiles and leather goods, or relax in a café over a glass of mint tea.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, an optional visit to the Ras El Maa spring or a short drive to the Akchour waterfalls makes for a scenic addition to the day. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [260 km]

This leg of your 15 days Morocco itinerary takes you from the Rif Mountains to Volubilis, Morocco best-preserved Roman site and a UNESCO World Heritage location, where ancient mosaics and columns bring the region’s Roman history to life.

From there, you’ll continue to Meknes, once the capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail and often called the Versailles of Morocco. Highlights include the Bab Al Mansour Gate, Lahdim Square, and the Royal Granaries and Stables. After lunch, you’ll arrive in Fes and check into your riad ahead of tomorrow guided tour. Day 5: Guided Fes City Tour

Fes is one of the highlights of this 15 days Morocco tour, and today you’ll explore it with a knowledgeable local guide. Starting at the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), you’ll wind through the narrow lanes of Fes el-Bali, passing markets, artisan workshops, and spice stalls.

The tour includes the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the historic University of Al Quaraouiyine, and the Chouara Tannery, where leather has been processed the same way for centuries. You’ll also visit the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the gates of the Royal Palace before free time in the souks. Overnight in Fes.

Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert [463 km]

Today’s drive crosses the Middle Atlas Mountains, starting with a stop in Ifrane, often nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine architecture and tidy streets. Near Azrou, keep an eye out for wild Barbary macaques in the cedar forests.

After lunch in Midelt, the road continues south to a viewpoint over the Ziz Valley, a vast palm oasis stretching along the river. By late afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes, and check into your desert hotel. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 7: Merzouga Sightseeing and Camel Trek

This is one of the most memorable days of the trip. A morning excursion brings you to a nomadic family’s camp for tea, followed by a stop in Khamlia village to hear a live Gnawa music performance.

In the afternoon, you’ll set off on a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, timed to catch the sunset over the shifting sand. At your luxury desert camp, enjoy a traditional dinner and Berber music around the campfire before spending the night.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley [265 km]

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. From there, the route passes through Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, before reaching the Todra Gorges, where limestone cliffs rise nearly 300 meters above a cool, narrow canyon.

In the afternoon, you’ll drive through the Dades Valley, often called the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing Berber villages and striking rock formations. Overnight in the Dades Valley.

Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech [325 km]

Today follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate, sometimes called the Hollywood of Morocco for its film studios. You’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios before continuing to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village and one of Morocco most photographed sites.

After lunch, the route crosses the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before descending into Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 10: Full-Day Guided Marrakech Tour

A local guide leads you through Marrakech imperial highlights, starting with the Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace, known for its carved cedar ceilings and colorful mosaics. You’ll also visit the Saadian Tombs and the Majorelle Garden.

In the afternoon, explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the surrounding souks, filled with carpets, lanterns, spices, and handmade crafts. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 11: Day Trip to Ourika Valley [120 km]

Leave the city behind for a day in the Ourika Valley, set in the foothills of the High Atlas. In the village of Setti Fatma, an optional hike leads to nearby waterfalls, and there’s an opportunity to visit a Berber family for tea along the way. Return to Marrakech for the evening.

Day 12: Marrakech to Essaouira [178 km]

The drive to the coast passes through argan tree countryside, with a stop at a women’s argan oil cooperative to see how the product is traditionally made. In Essaouira, explore the UNESCO-listed medina, the Skala de la Ville, and the fishing port before settling into your riad for the night.

Day 13: Free Day in Essaouira

Spend the day at your own pace in this relaxed coastal town. Browse the medina for handmade crafts and thuya wood items, enjoy fresh seafood at the port, or spend time on the beach. Optional activities include windsurfing, kitesurfing, and horseback riding. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 14: Essaouira to Casablanca [376 km]

After breakfast, the drive returns along the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. With some free time before your final evening, you might visit Morocco Mall, walk the Corniche once more, or view the Hassan II Mosque as the sun sets. Overnight in Casablanca.
