Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Welcome to Morocco!

Arriving in Casablanca, your private chauffeur will pick you up and take you to your hotel, where you can check in and relax in the afternoon. You may choose to visit the mosque or another sights at your free time in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen [341 km]

After breakfast, your next stop will be the royal capital Rabat. Enjoy the beautiful coastal city where you will explore the Kasbah of Oudayas and the uncompleted tower of Hassan.

Then head to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen, where you will explore the fascinating Blue City of Rif of Morocco. The blue walls and amazing designs around you will inspire you.

Continue your exploration and have time to go up mountains to catch the sunset of this blue city in a wonderful spot. You will spend the night in a hotel/riad with delicious dinner.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [263 km]

In the morning, after breakfast, you will depart for the ruins of Volubilis. You will visit the 2000 year old Roman ruins and get a sense of what life was like during the Roman Empire.

Lunch will be held in the Moroccan city of Meknes. It’s one of Morocco imperial cities. After lunch, you’ll examine this city with its interesting buildings and monuments like gardens, palaces, and the gate of Bab al-Mansour.

Late in the evening, travel to Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. You will be taken directly to your Riad or Hotel to rest and eat your meal while we are getting ready for your following day.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing with a local guide

Today you will explore the oldest city in Morocco. You will begin your guided tour in Medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities and the oldest of Morocco four Imperial Cities. Throughout this tour, you’ll be allowed to see Bab Boujeloud gate and enter the major road of Talâa Kebira, as well as the tanneries and Chouara Tannery.

Then move on to the 14th-century Attarine Madrasa, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture. You will explore the famous souks, an architectural style unique to Moroccan culture, where you will learn about the country’s history and art. Having the opportunity to visit the royal palace, tanneries, and potteries will be beneficial to you.

Lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Medina. You will finish the tour and return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner at your riad/hotel.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert [463 km]

After breakfast, our journey to the desert begins at 8:00 from Fes, passing through some of Morocco unique destinations. We start with Ifrane, often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, followed by a visit to the expansive cedar forests of Azrou, where you can observe Barbary apes. As we traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views along the way.

Midway, we’ll pause in the great city of Midelt for a traditional lunch before continuing our route to Merzouga. Along the journey, we’ll make a worthwhile stop to admire the panoramic vista of the Ziz Valley lush palm oasis carpet. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you’ll check in to your hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can refresh with a relaxing shower and unwind with a soothing mint tea.

Day 6: Merzouga Sightseeing [60 km]

After a traditional breakfast at the hotel, your day begins with an exploration of the Erg Chebbi area. Visit Khamlia village to experience folk dances and the rhythmic beats of Gnaoui music. Afterwards, explore the picturesque Merzouga lake known for its diverse bird species, and visit a Nomadic house to witness Berber handicrafts and learn about their traditional way of life.

Returning to the hotel, you’ll leave unnecessary luggage behind for a unique camel trekking adventure. Traverse the golden sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi atop camels, marveling at the breathtaking sunset over the Sahara. Finally, arrive at our traditional and well equipped desert camp where you’ll enjoy a hearty traditional dinner in a welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by Berber music under the starlit desert sky. Overnight in the nomadic camp promises an unforgettable experience.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges [271 km]

To catch the stunning sunrise, prepare to wake up early and enjoy a quick shower followed by breakfast as you prepare for the day ahead. Our journey begins with a visit to Rissani, a charming town renowned for its bustling traditional market, or souk, where you can immerse yourself in local culture while exploring stalls filled with dates and fossils. Be sure to stop at a nearby craft cooperative to learn about the fascinating variety of fossils found in the region.

Next, we’ll continue our adventure to the Todra Gorges, standing 300 feet tall and offering breathtaking views ideal for a leisurely walk along the riverbank. You’ll spend the night in Dades, where dinner will be served at the hotel, providing a relaxing end to an enriching day of exploration and discovery.

Day 8: Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate [140 km]

You will travel by 4×4 car from Dades Valley to Kelâat M’Gouna, our new location. Here rose petals are processed into rosewater or sent to perfume businesses. The Festival of Roses is celebrated in May.

Continue west and stop in Ouarzazate to discover more about how scenes from Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down were filmed there. Visit a movie studio and the Musée du Cinema to learn more about the history of the area and the filming process. Your day will finish in a hotel, where a delicious dinner will be served.

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Taliouine – Taroudante [275 km]

Starting our 15 days tour from Casablanca, after having breakfast in Ouarzazate. Your first place to discover today is the most well known Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Later we continue towards the beautiful small town of Taliouine, known as the Saffron capital of Morocco. We will visit the Taroudant city as well. You will discover the nature of this place after getting Taroudant which used to be a regional capital and the first capital city of the Saadian dynasty.

Located at the intersection of Souss Valley and the mountains of the High Atlas, Taroudant offers a delightful setting. Enjoy a bit of Berber hospitality and a mild climate all year round. Go to the picturesque Berber souks, known for their leather, iron, wood and ceramics.

Day 10: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira [258 km]

The next morning, we will depart from Taroudant and journey to Agadir, one of the most magical and popular tourist destinations. The expansive, shallow beach is situated on a crescent of sand and boasts a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. It is so wide and shallow that it extends as far as the eye can see.

After eating lunch in Agadir, we continue our journey north to the coast of Essaouira. Here you can experience Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish, and French pasts in the well preserved architecture. The city’s charming fishing harbor, whitewashed buildings with blue paintwork, and little passageways represent the Portuguese character of early settlers.

You will also have a chance to visit some artistic shops like Gnawa workshops and attend a Gnawa show in a restaurant where you can have a dinner.

Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech [191 km]

After breakfast at the Riad, we’ll proceed to our next destination, stopping along the way to visit Argan cooperatives renowned for extracting oil known for its cosmetic and medicinal benefits. Upon reaching Marrakech, you’ll have a free evening to immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna square at night, where snake charmers, fortune tellers, and musicians vie for your attention. Overnight accommodation will be at the Riad, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Day 12: Marrakech Sightseeing with a Local Guide

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will go on an exciting exploration of Marrakech guided by our local expert. Our itinerary includes must-see landmarks such as the Majorelle Gardens and Berber Museum, where you can immerse yourself in vibrant botanical beauty and cultural artifacts. We will also visit Rahba Kedima, a bustling market offering an array of spices like cumin, cinnamon, saffron, and more, filling the air with their rich aromas.

Continuing our journey, we will explore the historic Jewish Mellah, the opulent Bahia Palace, the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and the elegant La Minara. Day 13: Ourika Day Trip from Marrakech [41 km]

After breakfast at the Riad, we’ll have Ourika Valley day trip and Setti Fatma, located just 50km south of Marrakech. This lush valley offers a refreshing escape from the city’s summer heat. You’ll hike alongside locals to discover the sources of Setti Fatma waterfalls and gain insights into Berber life.

During the excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to visit local handicraft workshops featuring colorful glassware, metal tin lanterns, and intricate hand paintings. Lunch will be served at a charming restaurant overlooking the valley, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

In the evening, we’ll return to Marrakech, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 14: Marrakech – Casablanca [243 km]
