Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges [330 km]
Your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. You’ll set off towards the south, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2,260 meters. This route offers breathtaking views of valleys, towering mountains, and traditional Berber villages nestled along the slopes.
As you descend towards Ouarzazate, you’ll stop to explore the UNESCO-protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco most well-preserved fortresses.
