Day 1: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [321 km]
Your best 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes via desert. Your adventure commences as your knowledgeable driver/guide collects you from your Marrakech lodgings. You will be transported across the magnificent Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’tichka pass, which stands at 2260 meters above sea level. A highlight of this tour is a visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and an iconic Moroccan historical edifice.
Lunchtime presents an opportunity to savor local cuisine at a charming restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Ouarzazate and pause near the Atlas film studios for a photo stop. Then, explore the city center, where you will be treated to a picturesque view of the Taourirt Kasbah, a storied fortified dwelling.

Day 2: Dades Gorges » Todra Gorges » Merzouga Desert [249 km]
After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, the day’s adventure unfolds as you head towards Tinghir. On route, you will pass through Boumalne de Dades, offering a perfect opportunity to capture the panoramic beauty of Dades Valley.
Continuing your journey, you will proceed to Todra Gorges via Imider and Tinghir, with several scenic stops and photo opportunities along the way. Upon reaching Todra Gorges, prepare to be awestruck by its dramatic canyon landscapes, where you can explore the narrow valleys on foot.
As the day progresses, you will travel to Tinjdad, where a lunch break awaits, and then onwards to Erfoud, renowned for its fossil craftsmanship. From Erfoud, your path leads you to the mesmerizing dunes of Erg Chebbi, also known as Merzouga Dunes.
Upon arriving at the dune edge, you will take a camel trek for approximately an hour and a half, an experience filled with laughter and adventure as you journey into the desert, guided solely by the sound of the camel’s footfalls on the sand.
You will reach the campsite in time to witness a breathtaking desert sunset, a tranquil moment amidst the serene desert landscape. As night falls, enjoy a delicious dinner and entertainment around the campfire, featuring Berber drumming. After breakfast, the final day of our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes takes us north through the vast Tafilalet palm grove, the largest in the country, with thousands of palm trees stretching over 20 km. We pause at the Ziz Valley, the source of water for this lush palm grove, where you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley and Aoufous town.
Our journey continues with another stop in the city of Midelt, nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Here, you will have free time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we pass through the Cedar forest of Azrou, where you might spot some Barbary Apes along the road.
Next, we visit Ifrane, a city situated at 1630 meters above sea level on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas. Its wide avenues, impeccable cleanliness, green spaces, gardens, and unique architecture give it the appearance of a Swiss town, earning it the nickname “the Moroccan Switzerland.” Ifrane even boasts a prominent ski resort, Michlifen.
