Day 1: Casablanca – Chefchaouen [338 Km]

Begin your 7-day tour from Casablanca, where we’ll meet you at your accommodation or the airport. From there, we’ll drive to Chefchaouen, known for its stunning blue architecture. Along this renowned Morocco Sahara tour, we’ll make brief stops at notable monuments in Rabat, such as the historic Hassan Tower. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay in an authentic riad nestled in Chefchaouen vibrant Medina.

Day 2: Free Day to Explore Chefchaouen City

On the second day of our Imperial Cities and Sahara Desert tour, enjoy a leisurely day exploring the blue-painted alleys and highlights of Chefchaouen. Discover the iconic Stalk, central to the town’s charm, along with attractions like Akshour Falls, the Kasbah Ethnographic Museum, bustling Utah Lhmama Square, and the vibrant Al-Swaiqa District. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at a traditional riad, immersing yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes [277 km]

After breakfast at your riad, we’ll begin our journey to Fes via Ouazzan and the Roman site of Volubilis. Dating back to 225 BC, Volubilis boasts some of Morocco most stunning mosaics from the 3rd century BC. Enjoy a guided tour of this well preserved Roman empire site to learn about its historical significance.

Next, we’ll proceed to Meknes, once the Ismaili capital of Morocco. Highlights include the impressive Bab Mansour gate, commissioned by Sultan Moulay Ismail, and the Sahrij Souani granary, used for irrigation and agriculture. Our tour also includes a visit to the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum before continuing on the highway to Fes. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a luxurious riad in the medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes sightseeing tour with a local guide

After breakfast at your riad, immerse yourself in Fes, renowned as the Spiritual City of Morocco. Spend the morning navigating the Medina intricate alleys, visiting cultural landmarks like the ancient Al Karaouine Mosque and University, the Madrasa Bouanania, and the vibrant Tanneries and Najjarine Fountain.

After lunch, venture beyond the Medina to explore the Royal Palace gate, stroll through the historic Jewish quarter known as the Mellah, and discover the craftsmanship at a local pottery cooperative. Later, enjoy a panoramic view of the Medina from one of its fortresses before returning to your riad for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert [469 km]

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey south to the Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia on this expansive Morocco tour. Our first stop is Ifrane, often referred to as (the Switzerland of Morocco). En route to Merzouga through Midelt and the picturesque Ziz Valley, you’ll witness the stunning landscapes of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.

Afterward, peacefully trek back on camelback to your starting point, marveling at the ever changing beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sunlight transforms the landscape throughout the day.

Meet your driver and head towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, renowned as Morocco highest and narrowest gorges. Here, you’ll have the chance to hike along the valley, surrounded by impressive cliffs.

Continuing through the Dades Valley, you’ll encounter majestic sand castles and fascinating rock formations known as finger monkey. Conclude your day with overnight accommodations at a hotel nestled in the heart of the Dades Gorge, where you’ll enjoy delicious dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech [325 km]

After breakfast, we’ll start our journey through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. The route through the Dades Valley, often called the  Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, offers ample opportunities to capture some of your most memorable photographs from the trip.
