A private tour company in Marrakech, founded by Hassan Ouargaga. One vehicle, one guide, one itinerary: yours.
Best Morocco Travel is a locally owned tour company in Marrakech, started by a Moroccan Berber and American couple who share a love of travel, culture and genuine hospitality. For more than 25 years we have designed private, tailor-made trips across Morocco, and over 15,000 travellers from around the world have explored the country with us.
Our approach combines the knowledge of a team that lives and works in Morocco with the service standards international travellers expect. Every itinerary begins with a conversation about your interests, your travel style and the time you have, and we build the trip around that: a night in the Sahara, a road trip through the Atlas, or time with Moroccan families in their daily lives.
Every trip is private, transparent and carefully organised. You travel in your own air-conditioned vehicle with a professional English- or Spanish-speaking guide, stay in riads and kasbahs we have tested ourselves, and know exactly what is included before you book.
The people who plan your trip, answer your messages and travel the routes with you.
CEO & Founder
Moroccan, based in Marrakech
Hassan founded Best Morocco Travel and still plans every trip himself: the route, the hotels and the pace, from your first message to the day you fly home. For years most of our guests reached us through travel agencies abroad that trusted him with their own clients. Today he works with travellers directly.
Managing Director
Runs the company alongside Hassan and makes sure every trip meets the same standard, from the first quote to the last day.
Booking Specialist
Handles your reservations: confirms the riads, kasbahs and desert camps on your plan and keeps every booking detail in order.
Partnerships Manager
Works with the riads, hotels and desert camps we partner with, so every place on your trip meets our standard.
Web & Digital Lead
Builds and runs our website and booking tools, so your enquiry reaches the team quickly.
Who is travelling, roughly when, and what you would like to see. An email or a WhatsApp message is enough.
Within 24 hours you have a day-by-day itinerary with hotels named and one clear price. Nothing is added later.
Swap a city, slow it down, add a night in the desert. Nothing is booked until you say so.
Your guide meets you at the airport, and our team is one message away for the whole trip.
Every tour is exclusively yours. No joining strangers, no fixed group pace, just your own private vehicle and guide for the entire trip.
We build your route around your interests and schedule, not a fixed template. Change stops, pace, or destinations as needed.
Begin and end your trip wherever suits your travel plans, whether that's a single city or a different airport altogether.
Choose from carefully selected riads, kasbahs, and hotels ranging from comfortable to five-star, all matched to your budget.
Travel between destinations in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with a professional, English-speaking driver.
We collect you on arrival and take you back for departure, so transportation is one less thing to plan.
Desert routes and mountain passes are driven in Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4s; cities and the coast in Mercedes minivans with proper room for luggage. Every vehicle is air-conditioned, private to your group and driven by a professional, English-speaking guide who knows the road, not just the map.
The price on your itinerary is the price you pay. No surprise fees for the camel, the camp or the airport.
The riads, kasbahs and desert camps on your plan are places we have stayed in and go back to, not names copied from a booking site.
Your trip is run by the people who planned it. We do not sell your booking on to another agency.
Flights change, weather changes, plans change. Someone from the Marrakech office answers, day or night, for as long as you are in Morocco.
When I plan a trip I think about drive times before I think about sights. Morocco is bigger than it looks on the map, and the difference between a good trip and a tiring one is usually one extra night in the right place. So I will sometimes suggest a slower route than the one you asked for, and I will tell you why. Send me what you want to see and I will tell you what I would do with the same days.
