Tour Plan:
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen – Fes
Welcome to the vibrant city of Tangier where you will start the first day of your 7 days Morocco tour. After meeting up with your tour guide, Enjoy a comfortable private tour from Tangier to the blue city of Chefchaouen. The beginning of our journey will take place in Tangier, and drive to Tetouan, a few kilometers away we will be there to stop for while and continue and drive you directly to Chefchaouen city, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco, this small city is very known as the capital of the blue color, in which you will see the walls, stairs and the narrow streets in a creative shape with the blue colors. Also, you discover the local citizens and their culture, you will see how people dress, men wear ‘Jelleb” and women wear colorful straw hats that represent the area’s traditions. After that, we will have lunch in a local restaurant and then move toward the city of Fes, but before that, we will have a look at Volubilis, the old Roman city, and see the ruins and discover the history of one of the oldest places in the country. Later we will arrive at Fes and spend the night in a local Riad or restaurant and prepare ourselves for the city tour guide the next day.
Day 2: Fes Sightseeing
You’ll have a full day to explore Fes, the imperial capital of Morocco and one of the oldest cities, which is rich in Moroccan culture and traditions, after having breakfast in your riad/hotel this afternoon. With the aid of a local guide, we will start by exploring the historic area of Fes (old Medina). Our tour will cover the traditional souks, the royal palace’s gates, and Karaouine University. In actuality, the Quaraouiyine is still in operation and is the oldest university in the world. We’ll continue our tour after lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant by seeing the Batha Museum and the Nejjarine Fountain. We’ll stop at a café on a terrace at the top of the city to cap off the day and take in a magnificent view of the city before eventually returning to our Riad to stay for the night.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
Next, we will leave Fes after breakfast in our Riad, and we drive to a new city. A popular tourist destination in the nation is Ifrane. The colder temperatures, unusual architecture, different scenery, lakes, and streams, as well as the wide range of outdoor activities, make Morocco the Switzerland of Africa. Moreover, we will pass through the cedar forest where you will have time to explore the large forest in Morocco and north Africa, As you pass through the Atlas Mountains and start to make your way down toward the Sahara desert, you will also pass through springs, angular rock walls, and Berber settlements, you will discover a rare race of monkeys which called the macaque and would feed them your own. Midelt will be the lunch station before we move on to our next destination which is the Sahara desert of Merzouga, we will arrive there in the evening and direct you to the hotel where you will have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 4: Merzouga Sightseeing
Our 7 days tour from Tangier still goes on by reaching the fourth day, which will be specialized only for exploring the Sahara regions. During this day’s morning, we will wake you up early in order to catch the sunrise, a magical view in the dunes of Merzouga that you will love to enjoy, and set to watch and take pictures of that event. Later, we will go back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast and leave to start our desert exploration, and go to have a set with the Gnawa musicians in the Khamila village. You will enjoy how they play this folklore and see how they dance to these rhythms. Also, we will go to nomad families who use traditional camps as home and discover their lifestyle and enjoy drinking tea with them before going back to Merzouga. When the sun is about to down, we will have a tour of the dunes on camels and express this fantastic activity and feel the vibe of Saharan people then enjoy the sunset, one of the most famous views of the sunset in the world, especially in this place, you can take pictures and beguile on the sand. On the night we will change the hotel with a luxury camp where you will have dinner and spend the night there dancing around a fire with the Gnawa music group.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Our tour is on its fourth day. We will get up early in the camps after a fun night in the sand and enjoy the sunrise again before having breakfast. We will drive directly toward the Todgha gorges through Rissani and Tinjdad, you will be able to see the beauty of the high atlas gorges of Todgha, a naturally occurring oasis produced as a result of the River Todra consuming limestone over time. With canyon walls rising more than 400 meters above the earth, the gorge, one of Morocco’s main tourist destinations, has an almost antique appearance. We will proceed to the Dades Valley after lunch in the gorge, where we will experience the breathtaking beauty and expansive views of Dades Valley. We have this evening’s dinner and tomorrow’s breakfast at a nearby hotel while we’re still in the Dades Gorge.
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
You will have breakfast at the hotel this morning before going to Ouarzazate, a popular filming location, via the many Kasbahs. We’ll stop in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the rose valley, en route so that we can tour the regional cooperative for the rose business. Move on to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, around a thousand years ago, the little village was established and was a significant location along the trade route. Ait-Ben-Haddou is currently one of Morocco’s most popular tourist destinations and is most likely the most alluring stop on journeys around the country, there we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant that serves local food. Lastly, we will move toward Marrakech city, where you are going to spend the night in a Riad and get ready for the next day of your journey.
Day 7: Transfer to the airport
The last day of your 7 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech is here when you get up and leave your hotel/Riad and drive to the airport to close this fantastic tour around Morocco which lasts for 7 days starting from Tangier and closing in Marrakech.
